How do you create a collection for a new rum brand?

A collection of aged Martinique rums, imagined around one shared material: time. Tatanka entrusted us with creating its collection, designed around what time gives rum: the mark of the wood, transformation, the character unique to each vintage.

Launch this collection with two limited editions able to tell two sides of the same product!

Our response

Two bottles, two temperaments, one origin.

Tatanka, L'Origine
The rawest and most authentic of the two editions. A natural paper label, an engraved bison illustration, typography inspired by old posters. A bottle designed like an object found in the cellars of an old distillery, deeply tied to the land and to craftsmanship.

Tatanka, N°1
A more precious, contemporary expression. Deep black, gold details, a statuesque composition. It evokes a rare selection from the finest casks, the first number in a series set to evolve over the years, through ageing and blending.

The result: two designs that tell two levels of the same collection. The kraft tells of roots and origin, while the N°1 offer tells of selection. Two limited editions for distinct targets.
